Due to recent developments, we have unsurprisingly seen a surge of so-called conservative commentators in the west calling for a reformed approach to the immigration process. What is surprising to see is that the same so-called conservative commentators are overlooking the root causes of these developments. They refuse to acknowledge the fact that many of the individuals that are bringing this question front at center are themselves contributing factors to the calamites that they so often seem to complain about. An example of one such individual is the radical political commentator, Glenn Beck. Mr. Beck has not only demonstrated a lack of critical thinking skills (or the deliberate choice to not use them pertaining to Arabs, Muslims, and the criminal Israelis), but also shown that he is no different than the people he claims to be fighting. Behind the fancy microphone, books he’s authored, and political commentary is a domestic extremist mascaraing behind complicated language. He is no different than Al-Qaeda or any other group that he has so much to say about. The fact that he has an entire media empire that has a personal stake in ensuring the conditions in Palestine stay as is can also not be overlooked.
In 2016, he attempted to rebrand himself as an Independent to appear on the surface level as a more objective commentator. However, these attempts are simply methods of sedation he deploys on his fans. He has made crystal clear over the years that he considers most Muslims to be his enemy. One may ask how this conclusion can be reached given his statements in which he’s inclusive of Muslims. The answer to that is simple. Before we dive into that, a clear distinction must be made between conservatives such as Ron Paul or Tucker Carlson and between Glenn Beck. It is wrong and factually inaccurate to equate the two types of Republicans with each other. Trump for all his policies that are pro-Israel, has support from conservative voices who are firmly anti-Israel.
His vicious attack on Ahmed Mohamed
In late 2015, Sudanese-American Ahmed Mohamed who at the time was 15 and living in Irving, Texas was arrested for his invention which to the teacher appeared to be a bomb of some sort. This resulted in certain conservative voices such as the radical Beth Van Duyne (who is now a congresswoman) and Glenn Beck engaging in behaviors and actions that can only be characterized as a blatant and filthy war on Ahmed Mohamed and on the American Muslim community more broadly. The radical Glenn Beck proceeded to host an individual on his TV network that suggested that the actions of Ahmed Mohamed (who was once again 15 and a freshman in high school), was an act of “stealth Jihad”. Wow. What a ludicrous statement. A 15-year-old kid a part of some hysterical plot for extremism. It sounds unintelligent when you hear it but there’s people who believe these sorts of talking points.
His concern for how this kid threatened the national security of the United States was at no point sincere. It was nothing more than another sorry attempt by Beck to create controversy out of thin air which is something that is to be expected of him considering what is known about his nature.
“The white conservatives aren’t friends of the Negro either, but they at least don’t try to hide it. They are like wolves; they show their teeth in a snarl that keeps the Negro always aware of where he stands with them. But the white liberals are foxes, who also show their teeth to the Negro but pretend that they are smiling. The white liberals are more dangerous than the conservatives; they lure the Negro, and as the Negro runs from the growling wolf, he flees into the open jaws of the “smiling” fox.”
